The simple answer is yes. The machine is designed for professional therapists. If you want to BECOME a therapist, there’s a program through our partner Fascia Academy — and we can arrange a favorable package price.
How the Machine Works
The treatment is very gentle — yet a lot happens in the body. In short, the machine does three things:
- Increases flow: Frequencies optimized to increase fluid flow in tissue (by 3–12x) restore fluid balance, support nutrient exchange and waste removal in the fascia, and stimulate self-healing as increased flow helps rebuild the body from within.
- Relaxation/mobility: Helps the fascia relax (mechanical stress/manipulation) and loosens stuck or dry areas to improve glide.
Pain relief: Pain receptors are in the fascia and are stimulated by vibration; by changing frequencies, receptors are overloaded — producing strong effects without pain.
Massage guns are for home self-care. Atlasbalans is for professionals, and the difference shows in:
- Speed & feel — Atlasbalans uses slower, harmonic pulsations akin to microcirculation for gentler, deeper work.
- Variation — Continually varying speeds help the nervous system relax, so deep work feels pleasant.
Quality & classification — Award-winning, developed and manufactured in Sweden with a focus on durability and performance; a professional tool, not a consumer gadget.
Fascia is the body’s largest, most continuous organ — a network of connective tissue with no beginning or end that surrounds everything: muscles, skeleton, organs, and cells.
New research shows fascia matters far more to health, pain, and recovery than previously thought. Most pain receptors are located here, and nearly all communication in the body runs through the fascia.
When fascia stiffens, sticks together, or becomes inflamed, we feel pain, lose mobility, and recovery worsens. Factors like age, stress, illness, medication, and a sedentary lifestyle negatively affect fascia — which is why regular fascial treatment can be valuable for most people.
Atlasbalans & the Concept
For therapists who want to grow — and take their business to the next level
Want to get better at what you do? Then you’ll like the machine. You can work deeper, discover new ways to treat — and offload your body when the machine does the heavy work. That frees up time and energy to develop your business.
A treatment more and more clients ask for
Interest keeps growing. Clients appreciate that it feels good, that they can keep their clothes on — and that it’s easy to recommend even to those who hesitate to book a traditional massage.
For those who want to be as good at 5 pm as at 9 am
Seeing client after client is demanding — physically and mentally. With Atlasbalans you raise your baseline and can deliver great treatments all day — even when you’re not at your personal best.
Over 1,000 professional therapists in about 20 countries use the machine daily to improve mobility, relaxation, flow, balance, and posture, and to help clients with common complaints. Some use it to complement their practice — others have built their entire business around the machine.
The machine boosts the body’s own healing capacity and is primarily used to improve mobility, relaxation, circulation, and fluid dynamics. See https://fasciaclinics.com/common-symptoms for a guide to how fascia and holistic health relate to hundreds of common issues like back pain, tennis elbow, and headaches.
Yes — interest is steadily increasing. Thousands of therapists in over 20 countries already use Atlasbalans, and many have built their entire practice around the machine. Clients like that it feels good, can be done with clothes on, and provides quick results — so recommendations spread. Interest grows month by month.
Using the Machine in Practice
No. It’s meant to work with you as an extension of your hands. It takes the heavy load so you can focus on the treatment. Many therapists report increased sensitivity and that they’ve learned to feel through the machine.
It depends. A standard session is usually 50–60 minutes including intake, assessment, and health advice. The effective treatment time is typically 40–50 minutes, but you can get strong effects in 20 minutes.
More important than the length of a single session is creating a multi-session plan tailored to the client’s goals — e.g., resolving specific issues, feeling better day to day, or peak performance.
There’s nothing to suggest daily treatment is harmful — after 15+ years of use, we haven’t seen risks. We still recommend 2–3 days between sessions because effects can last up to 72 hours, and the body needs time to recover and adapt to a new balance. Many regular clients come 1–2 times per month; with specific issues, about once a week is common.
